I know this is a great idea. I know how much the environment will benefit from it ... and how "green" it is. I know how energy efficient these homes are. I saw how fine an advocate for them Dennis Weaver was in his life. Intellectually, they make so much sense.
They are probably the way of the future. But they just look so inelegant in the construction. (I know. Physics, weight, stability, utility, energy efficient, tire disposal issues solved, etc., etc., etc.)
But, when I imagine living in a house whose walls contain hundreds, maybe thousands of old tires -- it just feels really odd. I don't know how to describe it. Maybe I'd get used to it. I want to like this more. (I'll see what I can do.) @catweasel goes nuts over ideas like this. Thank you for sharing this post.
