The sun always shining is nice Not sure what your visa situation is but another option for the future might be the Republic of Georgia - it's a very conservative, but effectively European country. Safe, lovely people, inexpensive, and has 1 year no visa requirement for most Westerners. You'd be surprised how free the Post-Soviet countries actually are in comparison to what the West has become...
