Everything you said is so so true. I have seen helpless, hopeless adults because they were dependent on their parents for far too long and simply had nowhere to go when their parents weren't around. Parents need to realize that just mushy love isn't necessary for their kids. They need to be strong and responsible too which means they need to learn to stand on their own.
