Not to worry... As we always say in The Terminal, real life always comes first. I have been more absent as well; the flooring in our single-wide trailer is in terrible shape. So we've been trying to find someone to help us replace it. We are extremely concerned that it's going to collapse under the feet of one of our grandchildren. So you see... no need to apologize, or explain. But I see this as further proof of your positive energy.
On our walk home he often takes time to touch and connect with each tree and insists on that being captured.
What an adorable young man! I'm sure this gives you those,"I've raised him right" vibes. If not, it should. Trees are indeed a prescious thing... besides giving us oxygen. The provide shade for us, a way to build a place to live... and let's not forget, a great spot for a photo-opp!

Thanks very much for all the info @wesphilbin I've now subscribed to more groups; including those you mentioned, and followed a few more people...slowly getting there and learning my way around! For me, it's definitely about writing/posting what I feel inspired to/guided to; so I can find it harder to fit in with certain rules and subject areas required in some of the groups... but I'm working things out. Gradually finding the right audiences and those that might be more interested in what I have to share. Have a great day, love, light and blessings...
That is exactly what posting should be! Writing/posting what inspires you. That way, it comes straight from the heart! It is hard to fit into some because of the restrictions or rules, but, I know that you will find your little niche here somewhere! Just keep posting when it moves you, and you will find your right audience.
I found I cannot force myself to write, and it flows freely when I don't. By the way, I love Hiving! I found that constancy does pay off, people get to know you, and the best way I found to get to know people is to wander around to places that interest you and read a few posts, and comment (Oh, yes! Comments are the best way to get to know and be known)

Thank you @dswigle I really appreciate your comment. This totally resonates. For me it's really important to be authentic and write what you feel from the heart; like you say! I can sometimes write from a prompt word or theme suggestion; particularly with my poetry but it has to feel right. Have a great weekend.

hi .. you're not required to post in a group every time. Post when you can to gain the exposure. Post to your own blog only when your inspiration doesn't fit into a group that day.

Oh, dear friend... you know nothing happens overnight! Good, bad, or indifferent. But I understand what you are saying. Your story is powerful... and it is yours, to tell. So I can relate, as well as respect that. Let me just mention a few people here. Dear souls, that I think also vibrate with the same energy...
