I have to say, the whole steemit thing has me intrigued, and I very much dislike social media anyways so I figured I might as well try and get paid for it.
I've spent most of my young adult life struggling to make music work. Honestly, it's been pretty awesome. I think so many people get so caught up in the thought of a career, a salary, a car, a house; I much prefer building things. Skill sets, albums, sounds, relationships, empires - those are the things that get me excited. But usually my every day encounters consist primarily of individuals who seek the former, and so I sit here in my apartment quietly producing music for me, under my breath, making money where I can find it. It's a strangely fulfilling lifestyle.
I've worked under many different names so I won't get too into my history and background but I typically write electronic music. That's super vague, I know, but the music I work on really does jump around quite a bit. It keeps me busy to work on lots of different things, and I do truly believe as a freelance producer, it's important to expose yourself to as many genres as you possibly can. Unfortunately though, as far as artistry goes, I think it really does limit how far I can take any given 'persona'. I tend to work behind the scenes, wearing many hats and many masks.
Anyways, I figured I'd post relevant music of mine along with these posts and rants to keep things interesting. Here is a sneak peek off of an EP I'm working on under the name Elpi5. Thanks for reading!
