Education is the most important thing in our world these days. People have to improve their skills and they must expand your horizon. Education is like a journey that never ends. When did this journey start? When you were a child, who was your leader in this journey? I think your parents are your first teachers. You can learn many information about life. There are many reasons for why parents are the best teachers and these can be listed as being role-model and teaching values of life.
One of the reason for why parents are the best teachers is being role models. Childs are likely to imitate their parents’ behaviour. Children learn everything from their role models. Children's role models are their parents especially their mothers. Firstly, Children observe their parents’ reactions to ordinary events and they believe these reactions are always true. This is an acceptance for children. Then they start to react like they learned. On the other hand, parents should be very careful because parents’ any wrong reactions or behaviour may affect their child’s character. They must avoid using bad words while they are with their children. Because children have a tendency to imitate their parents’ talking style. If you are a role model for children, you must be good one.
Another reason for why parents are the best teachers is teaching values of life. Teaching values of life is as important as being role model. Respect, self-discipline, honesty, courage are some of the values of life. Most parents want to teach these kind of values in their children. Because people who growing with these values can be good person. Teaching values takes a long time, but the result is going to be awesome! If you instill that telling lies is a bad thing, your child always tells the truth. We have responsibilities as parent like as sharing our personal experience, showing good behaviours, etc. Also, Schools are not enough to teach these values. School’s primary aim is academic success and they want students who have already educated values of life. As a result, if we want a good generation, we should improve this generation as their parents.
In Brief, Parents have many responsibilities such as improving their child’s skills and building their child’s character. Parents should be very careful because children are likely to imitate their parents. Parents are the best teacher for children because children can communicate with their parents easily.
