Achieving success online or offline can be very difficult especially for those who do not accept that they have issues and thus are complacent. In this post, I will use a simple but widely used tool that will be helpful as a guide -which you can implement to your online and offline business-including personal development:
There are many strategic management tools however for simplicity sake, I will use SWOT framework due to its ease of understanding.
SWOT: Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats. This tool is a good technique for understanding your strengths and weaknesses and for finding the opportunities open to you and the threats you face. Note that strength and weaknesses are mostly internal to you or your organization and opportunities and threats are mostly external factors.
- Strength: what advantage do you have, core-competence: what do you do better than others, unique selling point (USP). These unique capabilities cannot be faked because they are unique to you and thus can be used to facilitate your success. Example, if you are a great artists, you can build a great artistic community here- which is the same with video creators, cooks , and software developers.
- Weaknesses: what factors make your posts (you in general) unsuccessful? , are you weak in writing, do you procrastinate , do you always pick or hate on others? Do you have issues in creating video, or even making friends with people online? Some people find it very difficult to write a good blog post but they are excellent in commenting on other people post-which mean that they will be more successful if they concentrate more on commenting because it will lead to more followers and curation reward (upvotes ).
- Opportunities: There are many opportunities online especially in steemt . You should ask yourself, what great opportunities you can spot examples interesting trends, new technology, and upcoming updates. Remembers that steemit has many opportunities examples investing in steem power, decentralized video (D-Tube. see my former post) , voice, networking communities etc. Another way is to look at your strength and ask yourself if it opens up an opportunity –this goes also to looking at your weaknesses and asking yourself if you could open an opportunity by eradicating them.
- Threats: what is holding your progress back? What obstacles hold you down? , could any of your weaknesses seriously threaten your personal or financial growth?
It is important to consider PEST (political, economic, social and technological) factors when analyzing your opportunities and threats. Reason is that social, technology changes and governmental regulations in certain countries might be a big factor to growth.
What do you think? Are any of the above factors relevant to you? Send in your comments and please would you up vote my post in order to send in your support, click follow in order to see future posts from me on your feed and resteem in order to share this post with your followers.
Pls see my former post: Are you failing on Steemit? Try Positive attitude, consistency, great quality / Originality

I had such outside obstacles I chose to write about it just to get back in and keep going. For now, any amount of forward movement is good enough for me while I work on getting organized. Thanks for the contextual information.
you are welcome, thanks for ourcomment and more success
thanks 4 sharing
welcome
i think the best option to succeed in steemit is for one to know his strenghts and weaknesses and area he can blog best... most people jump into crypto because of the population of successful steemians with little or no info or impact there... PEST is also an issue...most of us steemians has economic issues as such they bring it to steemit begging for followership and upvotes pissing would be upvoters off... and will you blame them? maybe not because of political and social limitations... for instance those living in Venezuela with harsh political and economic realities and some in Asia and Africa... sometimes we have to use empaty in judging fellow steemians...considering maybe we are fortunate to be in a saner clime...
thanks once more for this post @charles1 worthy of my upvote

Hello @charles1
Wow i have never seen someone use the SWOT analysis to describe personal branding online.
A lot of Steemians know nothing about blogging, so it is important for them to use the techniques you listed above to find out where they really stand.

I think to many people pay their way to the top with bots, this gives them unfair advantage over those that dont have the money to invest.
Good point however there is no way you can stop bots vote because of the money involved...
