How it Works
Now we pick a keyword that reminds us of the event: I suggest we imagine people building a model of the DNA as it happened in reality.

It would be silly to memorize the date without the names of the two nobel prize winners who made the discvery: Francis Crick (right) and James Watson (left). Keywords

Since we know the century we can leave that outThe Memory Story
Watson and a Cricket are having a nap after trying very hard to find out how the DNA is structured. In a dream the cricket sees the double helix shape. After waking up he turns to Watson and explains excitedly: "I have a brand new idea!". With his amazing explanations they are able to zoom into the DNA in their imagination.

Watson had a crick in his neck. So he took a nap. When he woke up the pain was not only the same, but now he had double vision. As he stared at his assumed DNA drawings, he saw a double helix shape instead. :)
