The Answering the Cry of the Poor (ANCOP) teamed up with the Rotary Club of Commonwealth in helping the poor receive tuition-free training. The official signing of the partnership happened November 28, 2019- 11 am at Club Filipino, San Juan City.
This project aimed to provide quality short courses for indigent high school graduates with 75% GWA and above. It is planned to deliver two batches of 10-day training focusing on Information Technology and Digital Marketing modules accommodation 20 students per batch.
Hive Training and Assessment Center is known for delivering IT-focused courses that will help the students adapt the fast-pacing technology since 2007.
Under this agreement, the two organizations will initially provide 1000 students from different parts of the country IT and Digital Marketing classroom-based training, after which, the students will undergo OJT. The third-party training provider has given their commitment to helping the students come up with a capstone project for the company where they will render a three-month internship. This project is ultimately designed to assist the student land a job or learn freelancing or entrepreneurship.
This collaboration is just the onset of larger projects with the goal of making education attainable for all. On the list is the Mobile Training Truck that is expected to field in different parts of the country.
The first batch of training is set to begin on the 6th of January of next year in Mandaluyong, Pasay and Quezon City branches.
