Section 2B: Modes and Pentatonic Examples, Explanation Part C

in #education7 years ago

The video discusses the modes. The images below show you 3 perspectives for playing the Modes and the Pentatonic Scales in C Ionian. The first perspective just tells you the frets to play and notes the octive. The second perspective shows you all the intervals and their positions so a more detailed version of perspective 1. Perspective 3 focuses on telling you a recommended fingering while abstracting the intervals or why it is important.

Will be realsing videos for each of the normal modes and the pentatonic modes. Then will release part c which will explain the spacing between intervals and other stuff maybe. Part c may also explain what chords to play witch what scale--at lease in the modes. Secion 3 will go into harmonic, melodic, and more in depth of chords.

Thanks for the support. Sorry to not publish trying to get an SP lease and have not had enough funds to promote the posts and do so. Hope to get delegation today or give up on it maybe?? Any leads for good delegation deals rewarded?

good

Thanks, hoping the harmonic variation will prove more illustrative of the spacing and the nature of these tones in a certain order.

very good post

Thanks, hope to expand upon this some. The melodic variation will help drive back the interval placement and help expand mastery.

Nice posting... bro..

Thanks, glad you are finding it useful, hope this is helping you with guitar and or music

Good post

Thanks I hope this series is helping you with guitar learning and applications

This is great! I play violin and mandolin, but learning theory across instruments is so useful!! Thank you!

Following you - so keep posting stuff like this!!!

Nice yea, the theory should work for any western style diatonic instrument. Violins and mandolins are tuned in reverse to gitbox in standard tuning using the circle of 5ths for the former and the circle of 4th's for the later, exept for the B string on gitbox which is tuned as a 3rd, a half step lower to repeat back to E

Wait, so funny. I commented on this last time to "save" it persay, because I knew I could find it again easily by my comment. I didn't have time to watch it then. But I came back to it, and why is the Blue Danube playing through your entire explanation?

So it goes. Love the Blue Danube beautiful piece. Hope the week has been going well for you thus far!!
