I'm still a minnow here as well, but I've found that commenting and discussion are far more successful (measured by steem earnings) than main blog posts.

People are here to share ideas on the blockchain, and discussion helps develop that more than anything. People know, see, and reward that. I find and follow folks that consistently make posts that are interesting and helpful to me, and discuss the topics.

Be sure and not just comment things like "thanks for sharing." You upvote will communicate that, your discussion is what helps provide value.

Remember, these things are forever part of the immutable blockchain. In ten thousand years, an archaeologist will be able to dig this up and gain insight into our current world. Represent the best, and stay relevant!

Good point re posting for posterity too. Had never thought about future peeps digging up blockchains but puts more weight to what we're writing. Reminds me of this Twitter account https://twitter.com/wwwtxt
