Do you feel that your child, no matter how old or how mature he/she gets, he/she still doesn't appreciate your time and effort to receive those hard earned bucks that he/she whiles away buying useless pieces of junk? I've got the post for YOU...

The thing is no boy or girl would ever know about how hard it can be to earn money unless they go out onto the streets and earn it themselves. Just telling them won't work either as whatever parents say are considered to be of no use to the child. Fortunately, we don't have to put them on the streets thanks to digitization of our lives...

So this is what I planned...
I experimented with one of my uncle's son (I'm sure you wouldn't believe me if I told you about how I changed) whose dad always complained about how immature his son was. I couldn't agree more :P
I asked my uncle to tell the following to his son:
You may use the laptop however long you want, but you must earn __ dollar online for each day you use it... (Note that I left a blank before dollars. This is to tell that different families can set different amounts, usually in the range of 5-10 initially and then increasing later...)

And...
It WORKED...Sure, he overused it, but it worked!
After a bit more than a week, my uncle's son realized how hard it s to earn money and started appreciating them more. My uncle took me and his son for a treat a week later (Yipee!!!)

Thus, putting someone in a harsh environment will make them realize how much you actually suffer everyday for them...
Cheers!
Hope this helps!
