Greetings from this part of the world!
Today I will be sharing my views on a subject that I have been deeply concerned about over the years.
As a teacher by profession with aspiring passion to create indelible impact in lives by building and moulding the society, I find it pertinent to relay useful bits Of my thoughts whenever I have the opportunity...
CORE
Education as a life-long process which entails acquiring skills, Knowledge and values is a course that should be undertaken by all and sundry for human and nation development.
However, the educational system in many nations suffers paucity of recycled transformations and still finds comfort dwelling in darkness and hence remain retrograde in a modifying world.
Education is the most powerful
weapon which you can use to
change the world
"Nelson Mandela"
Education and technology are two terminologies which must effectuate jointly to bring about improvement in any nation of the world.
Education gives birth to development and technology is the future which we would be handicapped without and as such, there is need for scholars to be kept abraced with tools which will push towards achieving this—Accepting E-learning as part of the exertion to contribute to economic development.
E-learning an acronym for Electronic Learning is the focal point here.
E-learning is a type of learning approach facilitated by electronic devices and the internet. Course content is made and delivered in the device. Materials such as videos, documents can be shared to aid learning.
There is no learning without a
learning. There is no meaning
without a meaning-maker. In
order to survive in a world of
rapid change, there is nothing
more worth knowing for any of us
than the continuing process of
how to make viable meanings
"Neil Postman and Charles
Weingartner"
As far as I can collect, in the ancient times in some parts of Africa school children learnt by writing with chalk on their individual portable square-shaped boards and a fabric-made duster in hand to clean off and write again.

Time evolved and rested so long on the pen and paper pattern of learning with chalkboards or whiteboards for the teacher/instructor to carryout illustrations and copy notes.
There is no doubt that this learning system is time consuming and most times the curriculum is left uncovered or rushed over as the case may be without detailed explanation and these stacks of notebooks with time are abandoned, disposed of or are being destroyed by rodents.
Well, news is that some nations are already side lining with the E-learning educational system for knowledge transfer to scholars, but sadly, it is not vast and has not been widely accepted by all.
Of this reason I am canvassing on the emergent need for the educational systems in countries especially developing countries to absorb the E-learning system of literacy and evoke scholars to tune in with the modern trends, allowing them to grow globally and in turn infecting the world by means of positive contributions.
The importance of E-learning is highlighted below:
*It saves useful time and allows
enough time for practical and
extra-curricular activities.
*It leads to technological
advancement a nation in the long
run.
*It improves academic
performance
*It paves way for critical thinking.
*It increases Scholars' power of
imagination.
*Scholars become independent as
they work at their own pace.
*It gives the teacher/instructor
enough time for topic
illustrations.
*It gives way for critical thinking.
*Scholars become inquisitive and
are therefore exposed to other
aspects of a course.
*Scholars apply skills acquired to
real-life situations.
*Clarification on doubting aspects
of a study.
*Social life is improved as there is
enough time for interactions
during classroom instruction and
while engaging in extra-curricular
activities e.t.c.
Examining the importance, it is needful that scholars be exposed to the essence of being advanced and encouraged to embrace the E-learning system of education in order to survive in the global world

Thanks @kpeno
cool ideas buddy ty for sharing
Happy to share!
This is definitely a good topic for discussion. I think e-learning definitely has potential, but there are a lot more considerations, such as individual style and content, of course. If nothing else, it will save students from lugging around heavy text books! :D
Lol...
I see light in what you've said,
E-learning has its own downside, so has every learning method..so it is worth reviewing, giving a try and improved upon.
Thank you @uniwhisp....#remarkable contribution.
Even though I dislike the idea of weapons, I love the idea of education as a weapon or tool to create a better today and tomorrow.
