Aren't the apps a possible distraction? If you split the audience across meme screens, twitter-clones, FB clones ,etc, aren't you diluting attention?
Or, I guess whatever helps grow the ecosystem is a good thing, and the details are less important.

I mean given that the other apps all feed into Steemit, isn't that feeding attention to all of them and vice versa? The other apps don't necessarily seem like distractions, just the spokes that join the wheel together, the hub being Steemit.
