Maintain Time Table:
Dont just sit on the table absent minded hours of hours. Dont be lazy. Make your time table according to your facilities. Study 3-4 hours daily (If you are near to exam, you need more time). Daily means daily. Never escape. And give your full concentration to your study. Remove all other thoughts from your mind. Keep your phone disconnected to the internet.
Understanding :
If you dont understand anything and try to keep every lines in your mind, yor result is ZERO. If you just read without understanding you learnt nothing. No real meaning of that kind of study. So try to understand every line. It will be really helpful to keep everything in your mind.
Use different materials :
Dont just read from one source. Buy different writers book on the same topic. Google what you dont understand. Search in youtube for explained videos.
Take break:
Taking break will make your brain fresh. Take a 10 minutes break for every 30 minutes study. You can hear a song, ask your parents what they are doing, or nothing. But dont connect to internet.!!!

Teach someone else :
Try to help others to understand the topic you are good at. Do it whenever you get chance.
Ask your self or write it down:
After reading a topic, test your self. Or write what you understood.

Make short notes :
Make small notes for important lines. It will also help you before exams.
Sleep :
To refresh your mind and keep everything you studied in your mind you need a sound sleep. Though sleep necessity is different for everyone. But 6-8 hours sleep is necessary for the common. I at least try to sleep 7 hours or more.
Concentrate:
When you study just study. Dont listen to songs ar any other things. I is not a correct information that songs help to study. You can listen song in that short break.
Make short goals :
Dont think that " I will finish the hole subject in a week." You should think that "I will finish a topic in 2 hours". It will give you inspiration and motivation to finish the subject.
Study environment:
Your reading room should be silent and clean. Gather everything you need to study for this period before you start.

I have exams nearly. So I searched On google about study tips and hear is what I got all together. Hope It will help you in your study.
You also need to study according to the type of test that you are doing. Multiple choice requires more scanning and recognition compared to short answer where you have to be able to write things down.
Also you should be able to predict what sort of questions would be used in short answers based off of the material that you are studying so make sure to study those key points and are able to explain it.
I meant that by short notes.
I like this post, although it's a bit hard when you actually need to be connected/on the internet to study...So it could be distracting.....What I like to do is play some background music depending on what I'm studying.
