Governor Nyesom Wike of State of the rivers he has accused his party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, of lying against him. He also described some of the leaders of his group as Atiku’s “attack dogs”.
Mr. Wike’s statement on Friday was his main public reaction to the outcome of the presidential primary Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the fact that the winner, Atiku, did not select him as his running mate.
