মুসলমানদের সব চেয়ে দুইটা বড় ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান এর একটি হল ইদুল ফিতর , অন্যটি ইদুল আযহা। ইদুল ফিতরে মানুষ দীর্ঘ একমাস না খেয়ে থাকে । এর অনুভূতি হল গরীব দুঃখী মানুষ যার ৩ বেলা পেট ভরে খেতে পারে না তাদের অনুভূতি বোঝা। অন্যটি ইদুল আযহার শিক্ষা হল ত্যাগ । এখানে যার সমর্থ আছে সে একটি পশু কুরবানি করবে । এবং এর মাংস ২/৩ অংশ গরীব দুঃখী মানুষের ও অত্মিয় স্বজনদের মাঝে দিয়ে দিতে হবে । এর মাধ্যমে যারা সারা বছর প্রোটিন ঠিক মত পায় না তাদের একটি সুযোগ হয় যেন তারা প্রটিনের ঘাঁটতি পূরণ করতে পারে ।

মূলত দুই ইদের উদ্দেশ্যই মহৎ এবং মানুষের মধ্যে একটি বন্ধন তৈরির উপায় । এই দুই ঈদ মুসলমানরা সবাই ইদ্গাহে হাজির হয় । এক কাতারে ইদের নামাজ আদায় করে । ধনী গরীব সবাই এক কাতারে সামিল হয় । সবাই সবাই কে আলিঙ্গন করে । যেন এক ভালবাসার সম্মেলনে সবাই হাজির হয় । এই দুই মহৎ উৎসবের শিক্ষাটি আমাদের বাস্তব জীবনে কাজে লাগাতে হবে। সর্বদা গরীব দুঃখী মানুষের পাশে দাড়াতে হবে । তাদের ভালো কাপড় চোপর দিতে হবে । তাদের একটু হাসি হতে পারে হয়ত আমাদের জন্য আশীর্বাদ সরূপ।
