IMO, the holy grail is on-chain scaling. No one has really cracked the code yet, as far as I can tell. If we must have sidechains, then this seems like a good implementation and more generally, they seem to have some good ideas. I say get em' all! I want ALL the coins! Bwaahaahaa!
