With all the rumours making headlines in Owan that you want to decamp from APC, it isn't really news as many politicians are products of migration from one party to another - no offense!

Please, I am not writing this to deliver a rebuke but i am just someone who has keenly admired your political rise.

You have been in power for a while, a long while; if you were to take stock of your work as a 'Representative of a People' what would you say you have done sir? You started out as a statesman who thinks of the next generation but swiftly shifted to a full-blown politician who is only interested in the next election. Do you remember that it was the voice of the people that ignited the race to the House of Reps? You were so loved and 'adored' as the Change that Owan needed YET swiftly again nobody could link a positive thing to your stay as a Rep.

My name is Victor Ogunleye Dele, I had so much faith in you like many others. I had left school (in Zaria) to come and vote for you twice (2011 and 2015) and was on ground for some of your campaigns including producing a campaign song we used in Owan West which was handed to the then Youth Leader, Dele Imoukhede. You see sir, I have been in this picture a while and the interest you promised to make reality which is 'making legislation that would improve the economy and entrench good governance in Nigeria' is yet...???

Let I said, this isnt to deliver a rebuke but come to think of it; if you spent a quarter of the constituency's wealth to better the lots of the people, I am NOT sure at this stage you will be 'wanting' to remain in power at age 63.

Leaders do NOT maintain followers...they create leaders.

At this stage sir, you are supposed to have 'created' a leader that can do more than you've done; and quietly sit to stir the affairs of the people as a Statesman and NOT be ridiculed out of office or relevance.

What would you be remembered for? Are Owan people NOT worth investing on, interms of infrastructure, education, functional healthcare, industries or agriculture?

If you are expected to 'fight' money for money by seeking re-elections and moving from one party to another, can you just take a while and think that the only reason why elections are expensive especially in Nigeria is because politicians will never work for the good of the people. But some people can be different! Can you?

Like I said sir, this is NOT to deliver a rebuke. There are a lot of us who still hold you in high esteem; please sir, Be a STATESMAN, think of the next generation, NOT the next election.

Victor Ogunleye Dele
Ward 4, Owan West.

But the truth is bitter sha!!! I am still waiting for his response. As a Nigerian, if you have not got your PVC, please now is the time. Do not delay.

A New Nigeria is Possible!

It is with Love!

@Outhori5ed 👍👍👍👍👍. In fact, you have actually taking the bull by the horn. What kind of thing is this? We have uncountable 'qualified' graduates jobless around these politicians. Yet, they do not want to vacate that position to encourage the Youths. Is their placenta planted there? Imagine, from being politicians follower to Councillor, to Council Chairman, to House of Assembly member, to House of Rep, then warming up to go back again. Haba....there is God ooo...let us fear God. Politicians are really, really selfish. Late ace Musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti sang a song that they are "jeun koku o, o de, waki and die, o de." meaning these set of people are "eat and die." Nice post, God bless you.
