It's hard to produce content on the cold days like this. It's below 0°C several days now. I tend to record my podcast during the morning commute. It is the slowest time in my day. The entire day is a big unknown. It can go in any way. It can be the turning point for my entire life or just a meaningless copy of the regular cycle.
Three days ago, the company I work for changed its physical address. I really like that change. It feels like starting fresh. The new office is comfortable and the walk to the office is much more pleasant. There is an artisan coffee place I now go to that is much better from the one I use to go to as my morning ritual. In this cafe I can actually enjoy the calmness of the moment, I can work on something if I want to.
The new office makes me less visible which translates to more comfort and less anxiety.
This whole week is about one thing. My visit to court. I will be defending myself on Friday noon. I have a strong case and I think I will win. I am hoping that my penalty for driving an electric longboard will be waved. (It is illegal to drive them in Germany).
I got caught back in November. Police confiscated my board and left me in the immense state of suspension. A few weeks ago I found out that the fine will cost 1200€. Winning is one thing, changing the law is another. I am hoping to contribute to that as well. I really loved riding that thing. Don't think of it as a longboard for lazy people, it's an entirely different vehicle. I guess it's like comparing a bicycle to a motorbike.
Tonight I am going to the first class of the Qigong course. I don't know what to expect other than it will be relaxing and the class will be in German. I still don't speak it.
The real reason to go is to spend some time with my Girlfriend. To do something meaningful together. I have been bad about that for several years now. It is easy to fall into the routine in the long-term relationship. Now when we are expecting the child it is crucial to work on things like that.
Thanks for reading. I would like to hear from you.
Interesting post. The way you are explaining your daily routines is just amazing and hooks me immediately.Mind if I ask why is it illegal to drive the electric boards in Germany ? Also, great pictures = )
Thank you for contributing to the Steemit Community.Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to your next posts.
Hope you win! I feel electric boards have a great future as batteries keep getting better. Hope they see it for it's benefits.
