Understanding Substation and Types of Substation
.
1.General Definition
Substation is a sub system of power transmission system, or is a unity of the distribution system (transmission). Distribution (transmission) is a sub system of electrical power system. That is, the substation is a sub-system of the power system. As a sub system of the transmission system, the substation has an important role, in its operation can not be separated from the system of distribution (transmission) as a whole.
2.Fuel Stations Function
Transform power:
From extra high voltage to high voltage (500 KV / 150 KV).
From high voltage to lower voltage (150 KV / 70 KV).
From high voltage to medium voltage (150 KV / 20 KV, 70 KV / 20 KV).
With fixed frequencies (in Indonesia 50 Hertz).
For measurement, surveillance of operation and security of electric power system. Arrangement of load service to other main substations through high voltage and distribution substation-substation distribution, after going through the process of voltage reduction through middle voltage feeder feeder in the substation. For telecommunication facilities (generally for internal PLN), which we are familiar with the term SCADA.

I'm just an ordinary person who wants to share knowledge about electricity
apologize if there is any wrong word
Thanks anddo not forget his comments yes guys
See you next time😁😁
