Having never been to Texas I wouldn't know , Our city's and Towns are much more compact in Britain/Europe and those are the sort of places you would normally drive EV's. , Im just saying it doesnt have to be that difficult.
Gas in the UK is probably 5 or 6 times more expensive than it is in the USA, so it makes it expensive to drive large distances.

My uncle has a ranch. Fifty or sixty miles range is barely adequate to check the fenceline.
50- 60 mile range???? at least 80 miles, and thats for older cars like my 2014 Leaf.
once you get there, plug in to a wall socket.
not many wall sockets out in the middle of a ranch.
