Appreciate you taking the time to read my story. It is true that there are other emotions and I know them very well, I live constantly surrounded by them with the situation that my country is going through. That's why I take refuge in my stories, where the best of the human being comes to light, in search of solutions and peaceful mediations. What reason is more powerful than love? Hahaha 
At first, I thought about killing and destroying all of them (humans and aliens, dragged by vengeance), but it turned out that in English the genres are not as visible as in Spanish. The captain that I had been thinking about being a man, at first, but then I thought that maybe a woman would see a more social alternative to establish a mediation between species without resorting to violence and more knowing that they were at a technological disadvantage.
But in the end, (as I mentioned in another comment )I knew that neither of them would let the other die...
Tak's decision was the most crucial, perhaps the most important decision, to leave the future of both species in Sharon's hands.
