Pouring Resin on my Painting
is the most exciting part of processing my artwork, aside from the fact that it's my first time to apply this kind of coating. Oh! I always dreamed about it and here it comes true.
This is the second part of my Bio-Mecha Frog painting originally entitled as the vitruvian Frog on this post
But before I pour clear epoxy resin I added some embellishments to make it more likely steampunked.
I added the following:
- screws
- fancy tin crowns
- knots
- gold powder and ink
Before
After
Ps. I used Easy Cast Clear Epoxy Resin on this pouring. The solution of Hardener and Resin needs to be equally mixed together to get the perfect mix.

Oh this looks so cool, love the idea with bottle caps! Also, epoxy makes it looks so cool and polished!
