Hi, lovers of art and work of hands! It’s already 7:42PM as of writing and I feel like sharing my newest artwork. I started sketching this morning and started inking after class hours while I was waiting for the classroom cleaners to finish their assignment.
This ink art is done by hatching and cross-hatching. My students were watching me while I was doing this. Some got curious about the many pencil lines on the face. I told them that these are guide lines that would help me in locating the areas to be darken. In other words, I was referring to the values in my drawing. A very important element in art.
Anyways, here’s the process of making this art which I call, “Beautiful Man”. Up to this age, there are still people who make fun of the skin color. In simpler terms there are still racists including my students. I immediately corrected them that the value and beauty of every person is not based on his/her race, religion, language and culture. And as an artist, you can always see beauty in anyone and everything.
I think I need to stop talking. Enjoy the process pictures:
Step 1: Sketching
Step 2: Hatching and Cross-Hatching
Step 3: Hatching and Cross-Hatching
Step 4: Affixing the signature 😊

How to be Confident
Confidence is certainly the most important factor which adds to the personality of any individual. A person’s confidence might go down due to mistakes, failure, guilty or any other thing which is undesirable. Some people often develop inferiority complex due to their physical appearance, caste, financial status etc. Such people perceive confidence as their weakness, while the truth is that confidence is an individual’s biggest strength.
Your confidence reflects your character, attitude and passion. You should be confident about who you are and whatever you do. Being confident will help you to express yourself and stand amongst the crowd.
Focus on your achievements rather than on your failures. If you do find yourself thinking about how you failed then look at what you managed to do right and how you could improve the outcome the next time. This change in attitude makes you more positive and that outlook will change how you cope with all the challenges you face.
Set reachable goals for yourself and break difficult tasks into smaller steps. You will be able to believe that you can achieve your larger goals if you can see the clear steps towards it and know that you can be successful by taking these smaller steps.
I so much agree with this because I had had inferiority complex. I somehow have overcome that. Thank you for this even its very far from my post.
You did a fantastic job, once again. The facial expression is awesome!

First off, your a very handsome young man @christianyocte. And those two children that you are with are darling, there your nephews aren’t they? So cute, what a beautiful family friend! Love your drawing, my daughter last week just married a Sudanese black man who is absolutely beautiful and so loving and kind. His family are one of the most warm and friendly people I’ve ever met. We love Him very much, the color of the skin means nothing. Souls are what matter. Jesus was born in Israel, He must have had dark skin, and look how perfect and beautiful He is. I’m so blessed to hear how your teaching these children in your class❣️ Great influences
Wow! I am happy for your daughter and your family. I know your family have reciprocated the kindness of your daughter’s husbands family.
Thank you for your compliments to me and to my nephews. They really are adorable children.
