Millions of People Are In For The Shock Of Their Lives

I don't think people are fully grasping the full implementations of where Musk unconstitutional activities are going to lead to. It's going to have far reaching consequences into millions of lives, many that are already bordering on the line to homelessness. That grasp comes into full context after a tape recorded conversation between Thomas Shedd, a Musk-associate and now head of the General Services Administration’s Technology Transformation Services and tech workers within the government that informed Shedd that what he was trying to do violated the privacy laws of citizens. One governmental department can't access nor give another department data on citizens without their consent, even a government worker within a department can't access it without a person's permission. Thomas Shedd didn't seem to care and insisted they find a way around Login . gov.

These potential changes, he said, would include things like creating “AI coding agents” that would write government software for many different agencies and would be trained in part on existing government contracts, larger scale automations of government, and, critically, changes to Login.gov.

“Just like a fun one that we've been thinking through with Login, specifically in TTS is, as most of you know, Login can't access government information on individuals. And so there's no connection that Login has with social security or any other government system, even though we're part of the government,” Shedd said. “And so part of one of the things to work through is how do we make it so that those agencies that has that information of very secure APIs that can be leveraged by login to further identify individuals and detect and prevent fraud?”

“I'm not saying that this is an easy task, but it is a task that's worth trying to pursue and one that only we can do as an internal team, right? We can't bring a third party in, hire them and have them work on a project like this. It has to be an internal technology team that works on this," Shedd said."

The recorded conversation unfolds around Shedd trying to convince the tech workers within the government to find a way to modify the programs using AI that would also be designed around a way to get into the data systems bypassing the Login . gov and need for consent from the individuals whose data they want access to. Meanwhile while claiming they can't be a third party into this but it's highly more likely than not that Musk and his band of associates are already a third party. The reason Musk is using for trying to justify this infringement upon individuals private data is that their is billions of dollars lost due to fake social security accounts and foreign individuals who fraud the system.

In his new government role, Mr. Musk has insisted that there is ample waste and fraud that has gone undetected, echoing claims he made when he cut costs at companies like Twitter. In a livestream audio conversation that began after midnight on Monday in Washington, Mr. Musk claimed that wasteful spending, including “fake people” collecting Social Security and Medicare payments as well as “foreign fraud rings,” was taking $100 billion to $200 billion a year of U.S. taxpayer money.

“A trillion dollars can be saved just by addressing waste, fraud and abuse,” he said without saying how he arrived at that number.

The only way I could even imagine there are fake individuals receiving social security payments, or there's even an foreign fraud ring, would be individuals who have been working in the US with stolen social security numbers of deceased individuals, and/or a fraud operation in a foreign country who will sell deceased individuals social security numbers, or has the mastery skills needed to produce official documents and notarize them before people travel into the US illegally.

I believe there's a chance that is happen based upon my nieces death in Arizona a few years back when told by those handling the records not to provide any personal information upon request by anyone not associated with the finalization of plans for burial. They said people scour the news and run schemes to get people who have passed away personal information and sell it on the black market to illegal immigrants. When I owned a salon, one of my customers was telling how they were going to get her boyfriend across the border, and the details of how they could drive down to Chicago, pay $850 to obtain a drivers license and social security number. So I know all this stuff is possible, because if you are using someone who passed away social security number, and have gotten a fake driver's license, birth certificate, worked in this country for decades without a problem, even filed taxes based on it, it's highly likely someone will get away with collecting social security. I would guess it depends upon how long social security keeps active records of deceased individuals in their data base, and the same could be applied to the IRS. The two systems don't cross reference one another without consent to give away a person's personal information except for information one gives supplied by the other for tax purposes at the end of the year. When social security sends out yearly income from social security, that's the only information the IRS gets when people file. If there's money involved outside that when people pass away, the IRS would be notified in a final filing by a relative/attorney/representative of that person's estate, that's the only way I can think of that the IRS knows of someone having actually passed away. To any successful undetected operation professionally, a lot would have to hinge on how long the data base of the social security administration and IRS to maintain old records, and potential would be scammers to know.

The bigger question here for Americans is how they'll program this new AI system and use cross references to detect fraud by Americans, no matter how small of a scale marginally. To Trump, small amounts add up to big amounts, when prior to running for president was a phrase given to the guy who was setting up for a Trump hotel in Russia, which limited his return to a million a year. I wouldn't outright dismiss the same applied to minuscule amounts of money. Lets look at how examples of how some can get caught up into this trap.

If you have two individuals collecting full SSI benefits living at the same address without telling SSI. That's a no no. SSI is based on benefits derived from someone else living in a household. Example would be if someone else is living there not declaring to SSI they are paying someone else rent on the side to rent a bedroom. The other person doesn't want SSI to know because that cuts their benefit, you are limited to extra producing income of fifty bucks a month on SSI without them deducting part of the SSI. If you both declare you are living there, receiving any other assistance, like food stamps, and depending upon the amount of rent each is paying, that also could be considered a derived benefit and reduce the amount of SSI the persons involved are receiving. There is no requirement for SSI recipients to file taxes, even in the case of rent rebates, or heating tax credits, because those also, depending upon the amount received, could reduce a benefit even if it's just a month or two in reduction. That brings us to if someone on SSI is receiving full SSI, and say they have a room mate, boyfriend, husband living there, and they are working but it isn't reported to SSI, that's a no no, because that is considered a derived benefit to the SSI recipient. The other person doesn't even have to be working, but collecting other social benefits not being reported to SSI, again, a no no for the same reason.

All it would take for Musk to do is program AI to cross reference people collecting SSI living at the same address collecting full benefits. Or people collecting SSI cross reference with the IRS of people working living at the same address. Or people living in subsidized housing cross referenced with taxes being paid by individual living there to see if they are one and the same, or are being filed accordingly if they are. Next up will be cross referencing people getting Medicaid, food cards or any other federally linked social program, all living at the same address, and if states refuse to participate, they'll be threatened with the government withholding funds.

Then there is this one. All the illegal migrants living three families to a household. Each family is getting a food card benefit for their children, or any other social programs they may qualify, the moms claiming she is working part time, dad left them and went back to Mexico but he's working down the street full time. Same could apply to a single parent with kids working full or part time, living with a boyfriend who has a job but they don't get married because the benefit of the child tax credits are alluring as is free Medicaid insurance for the kids, again, any other social programs that may apply, food card, rent, heat rebates, because the qualifications to receive these benefits all hinge on the household income combined of everyone living there.

I know a lot of these things just from being a landlord and a few friends here or there that escape the scrutiny of the system by not being forthright. That's why I refuse to sign any documents requested by tenants. I live next door, there's no way I can't see if someone getting section 8 rent lets their boyfriend move in. Or rare occasion where I had a tenant ask to verify information to qualify for assistance of some kind or another but I know what's written isn't factual. I just advise people I have a standard practice where I don't sign any paperwork I could be held accountable for.

Here's the thing, and I am sure there are more ways people find, unlike the past, things have gotten really bad out there and it's probably a problem that has been on the rise, people just looking for ways to survive but if these billionaires find a way to cross reference all the different systems in place looking for fraud, there's going to be a whole lot of hurt out there as people start getting cut off and told to go prove they are or aren't doing that, just like those having to disprove they are no longer engaged in DEI practices. I am figuring just about the time DOGE decides to head out of DODGE, millions of people are going to be making a mad dash to get their benefits reinstated and getting in line to do such could take months, maybe even years. They've probably already factored in the amount of time they think it will take them to implement a system that cross references other systems without having consented to release of your data for those cross references. They'll be long gone if someone doesn't stop the infringement upon your personal information so billionaires can make billions more off privatizing the government. People themselves though will be losing their places to live, facing increased hunger and harms from what the government allowed a unelected, non government employee do. People need to stand up now and demand accountability for Elon Musk's actions.
