Today , I want to share with you all about the meaning of the term 'emotion'.
Emotion is a psycho-physical reaction that takes place within us and it involves our body as well as our mind. This emotional state of a person causes physio chemical changes in our body . When a person is emotional his breathing becomes faster, blood pressure increases, heart beat increases, sweating occurs and sometimes a person shivers.
Some common emotions are anger, joy, fear,happiness, sorrow etc.
Emotions appears at all stages starting from when a child is born till death. If emotional reactions occurs , it persist for a very long period of time . In such a case , even if it dissappears, the emotional mood remains for a longer period of time.
Thus, psychologists have opined that children from an early stage must be given scope to mingle with others and express their thoughts and feelings ..Those feelings must not be suppressed by them.
