Don't Let Emotions Dictate Your Choices

in #emotions8 years ago

At an early age, when someone called us a bad name, the teacher automatically asks who hurt your feelings. This is a problem. Our adolescence shapes how we interact with others and our perceptions. If we're taught as children that our thoughts, feelings, actions and emotions are jilted by those around us, it creates a destructive path. To imply that our emotions and actions are manipulated by the words of others is to imply that they are In sole control of our lives, and that simply isn't the case. Letting emotions dictate our life choices, creates a shallow and limited perception. It limits our capabilities, through anger, fear, and being over joyed. When we Emotions make our choices, it becomes more bias. To underand the world around us and enjoy it, we must look at life through an even lease. To accept one end of the spectrum while denying the other, is to deny your own beliefs. They both must coincide to create that spectrum.

Emotions are normally considered as silly events that cloud judgment and mutilate thinking. This view is very much settled in, regardless of work in both theory and brain science that sets up a solid association amongst emotion and comprehension.
