How does $17+/hr to start with full medical/dental/vision/401k benefits sound?
How about $37/hr + benefits after you have completed a 5 year apprenticeship?
How would you like to get over $4/hr contributed to your 401k by your employer? (plus you also get a pension!)
Do you worry there wont be enough work? Don't worry... we are at the beginning of a H-U-G-E construction boom in our area expected to last several years, but as a U.A. member you can also travel for work. Recently we sent welders to China for a short project making close to $20,000 month (all living and travel expenses were paid as well)...
Earn while you learn... You will work as an apprentice during the day, and go to our state-of-the-art training facility a couple nights a week for your classes.
Don't just keep coasting by with that $30,000/yr job when you can easily make $45,000 your 1st year as an apprentice. Most journeyman will make $80,000-$120,000/yr in our area.
