February was a stellar month for the U.S job market. During the month, over 1M full and part-time jobs were added. This is a record.

Normally, when full-time employment numbers come in strong, the part-time sector suffers. In this instance, both numbers saw significant growth.

The unemployment rate sits at 4.1%.

This is the biggest monthly gain this century.

We can expect the President to make reference to this at some point today.

Unemployment rate I think is going down. Great work the government is doing.

Thanks for sharing with us my friend:)

The unemployment rate sits at 4.1%.

If thisnis the case with you guys then I must say there is no unemployment in the United states. Our percentage of unemployment goes way beyond that and I dint see it getting any better. It's saddening though

Ahh, nice numbers, but let's see if the unemployment rate goes down as well. I mean, some people just don't want to work and they earn money in different ways. Legal or not legal ways, some just know how to avoid employment.

Trump is very criticized but the results are starting to come out and they look great for US population, the country is growing well in a lot of sectors and this record established in the unemployment rate shows a great prospect for the economy of the US.

A lot will argue this is a reflex of Obama´s policies but what really matters is that the US are growing and that affects all the world, let´s hope it keeps going like this.

This is clearly the result of Obama's policies. He paved the way for the business owners (who did not build that, by the way) to create these jobs (which are never coming back.) It's either that, or the economy was already in an upswing and would have improved under anyone.

Just kidding , Trump deserves the credit for it .

We can expect the President to make reference to this at some point today.

LOL, damn straight we can. This was all him, he did this and no one helped that I can think of.

Really, this is great. Having such a low unemployment rate is fantastic. Despite perception the world appears to be imroving as far as war, hunger, etc. That's not to say we still don't have a lot of work to do. Our priorities are out of wack. If the President was really interested in helping people, he'd follow this up by describing how he's going to get these employed people the help and education they need to thrive, not just to get by.

We don't need to spend billions or trillions on war, we need to improve infrastructure, we don't need to give tax breaks, we need to increase taxes(mostly on the filthy rich) and improve our healthcare, schools, and food quality. We don't need to work 60 hour weeks, we need to innovate in the professional space and put mental health first.

Simple stuff can produce amazing results, all people need are food, shelter, and love and we will thrive like never before. Employment rate is a great start, but it's not getting down to the real problems the country faces imo.

Unemployment is a real issue!
It is an even greater issue in my country, India where it reached 15 month high this month of a whooping 6.1%. Awareness and measures have to be taken inorder to help everyone have a good living standard!

I highly credit Trump for the effort he has made in trying to fulfill the pledge he made to the American people as far as jobs are concerned. February has shown abundant results of he's effort in creating more jobs and I feel their is much more to expect from him in the next months. Though there is a slow growth in the US economy at the moment, the productivity is going to get high with all these jobs available which is going to boost the consumption levels. Their is going to be a lot of spending from the public as the GDP increases, increasing the demand for goods and services. Which I believe will have a huge impact on the growth of the economy.

Great, at least I've seen something good from the president. I know he will be referring it in all his speeches. The president is just funny.

There are still thousands of issues and he shouldn't be proud of that process. He should frat settling the security sector and avail enough expertise to deal with armed gangs and terrorists.

Normally, when full-time employment numbers come in strong, the part-time sector suffers.

This will be too tough for the part time sector but also if they raise a little bit on people's income, I believe people will be willing to join since they will have to work less with a more affordable income revenue.
