Hey very good to all welcome to TarekCrack and in this ocacion I bring you 10 things that a leader should not do.\n\nencourage division among its employees
Your role as a boss is, in addition to leading, fostering cooperation and working together. So forget about excluding some members of your team. Everything, even the most "silly", says: if they go out to eat, invite everyone; if they will raffle something as a team, consider them all. It is something basic, but extremely important!
2.participate in gossip (or worse, generate them)
Getting involved in hallway rumors is one of the worst things you can do at work. If you're a team leader, much worse: all you do is encourage your employees to do the same, and create a tense work environment. Stay away from criticism and gossip and act as the leader you are.
3.not recognize the work of your team
True, leaders are ultimately responsible for making things right ... But employees are the ones who make things happen. If your team delivered good results, acknowledge them and make sure others know. There is nothing more disheartening than a chief who has all the merits.
Four.show preference for some employee
Maybe it's worth a lot of the work of some dedicated employee, or there's another one that makes you laugh out loud. Or maybe one of them is a good friend. However, there is a golden rule: in the office, everyone should be treated equally. The only thing you will get when you show your preference for someone will be to discourage the rest of your employees.
5.criticize the work of other bosses
Do not the other bosses do their job well? Unless your performance directly affects your work, it is not for you to shout it to the four winds. This attitude denotes arrogance and lack of maturity. And what not the main qualities of all leaders should be humility and responsibility?
6.do not get involved in your team processes
Caution: do not confuse "trust fully in the work of your team" with disregard of the work processes. As a leader you must always be aware of everything that happens in your area. That of directing from the heights, not knowing how to do things from below, is typical of a dictator, not an authentic leader.
7.do not motivate your employees to learn new things
A leader should always encourage his employees to grow in their profession, and this involves teaching them new things ... or, at least, not close to learning. Many bosses believe that their employees "know enough", and do not even bother to incorporate new learning.
8.close to new ideas "because they already know what works"
Why learn to use the new technologies if the typewriter works perfectly well? Being in charge of a team, it is your responsibility to open yourself to changes and incorporate them into your work processes.
9.transmit their negativity and apathy to the rest of the team
You do not agree with the decisions taken "from above", you think that your bosses are inept, that nobody does his job well and that, basically, everything slowly collapses. Do not pass this negative mentality on to your employees if you do not want them to get upset.what you must convey to them is always security, tranquility and trust.\n\nBig mistake!
