But who is Tony Robbins?

Tony Robbins or Anthony Robbins is an American life and personal development coach in the field of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He is best known for his bestseller Unlimited Power (Affiliate link).

Cover of the book Unlimited Power

As the son of an alcoholic mother and an abused child, he decided to take charge of his life and help others to do so.
Tony Robbins has coached great personalities such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Bill Clinton.
One of his favorite methods to stop limiting thoughts is fire walking, which consists of walking on hot coals.
He is also the founder and president of the charity that bears his name, The Anthony Robbins Foundation.

What is the documentary about?

Join Tony Robbins and his team in a 6-day seminar with nearly 2,500 people from 71 countries.
Suicide, abuse in a cult, drug addicted parents or relationship problems. Discover sad and endearing stories of people at the end of their rope.
Tony and his team will do everything in their power to help them take action and turn their lives around.
This is not a documentary about Tony Robbins' life, but about how he brings a glimmer of hope to the participants.
For me, he is much more than a coach, he is also a fine psychologist, able to ask the right questions to get to the bottom of the problem.

This very dynamic documentary made me feel very emotional, and may even bring a tear or two to your eye.
Tony is not afraid to use vulgarity to reach his audience. You will hear "Screw you" and "Fuck you". This vocabulary will impact you positively.
With a speech of his own, the coach knows how to differentiate himself from his colleagues.

My opinion

Although I am not unhappy, I am not happy in my life either. I don't know where I want to go.
By nature introverted, hyper-sensitive and unconfident, I felt the emotion of people, sadness as well as happiness. An impressive and stimulating feeling.

Whether you are interested in the field of personal development or not, this documentary will bring you answers but also questions about your life.

And you, what documentaries have you watched that made an impact on you?
