Fossil fuel provide up to 80 percent of the world's energy, with the largest reserves in the Middle East. However, fossil fuel is a non-renewable source of energy which means it will be depleted over time. The question here is, what happens when all the world's fossil fuel reserves get depleted? Even though scientist and engineers are constantly improving alternative sources of energy, the impact of fossil fuel is so great that switching away entirely will not be without challenges.

Bio fuel has been considered as an alternative source which is much cleaner in terms of green house effect. But the difficulty of bio fuel is the ability to produce on a scale that can meet the world's energy demand.

Nonetheless, we may be closer to the solution of bio fuel through the effort of researchers who have discovered that a certain plant, which I believe will be a supprise to many, is capable of producing the world's bio fuel needs.

It can be grown and harvested within 24 hours, with the ability to reproduce and multiply intensely.

It is no other plant than "algae". Yes , algae.
