Great thoughts. I still do not understand with geothermal having been proven to work how we still have old school heat pumps needing tremendous heat and lots of electricity to hear or cool a house.
You got a great point years back a high school student made batteries that charge from air, but the technology was bought by energized and Duracell never to be heard of again.
I think outside of solar energy your right on, there are working models that actually do work. Why not look into these, a small community of home owners could place something in the community to provide electric free to the small community does not need to be large scale. If these small communities take steps in there own we will cease dependence on the large corporations who are taking in profit for what? Their own gain not the benefit of the community.
I knew of a guy who had a solar electric powered house back before there were large solar panels.
When I say 1950s technology, I'm not kidding.
Long ago I realized that the large corporations/govern-cements could not be changed. As their goal is control at ANY cost. There is not turning them around. What is left is to go off and build all the things without them. Ignore them out of existence.
That seems like a great plan. If no one used the electric grid they would not have profit.
