After a fair amount of thought, discussion with peers, and appalling engagement on my part for a few years now, I have decided to stop this weekly summary of engagement on Hive.

Totally get it but I will miss the EL I have been in many and recommended many but the time has come to leave it behind embedded on the chain. You made an impact , so what now beer and bikinis ?

Whooooo, that was unexpected, but understandable, maybe you can change your mind again in the future. The league has helped a lot of people establish an engagement framework.

Nothing planned, definitely don't want to do anything structured. I think I'll just turn up with the odd Paddleboard n beach photos :)

The engagement league was very interesting. It was an important part of the Hive community. Many people participated in it. I was in the top 10 of the engagement league a few times in the previous few years. I understand your decision. Now you can focus more on other things, including real life things. In the recent past I also spent much more time in the physical world than on the internet.
Of course I still write blog posts on the Hive blockchain, and I still write a comment, when I have something to say. But nowadays I do not put many hours every day into commenting. And this is understandable. I and everyone else too has a life to live. Now I say thank you for your commitment with the engagement league.

I think it was time, it’s sad to see it go but it’s one of those things that had its heyday and is time to move on to other things. Perhaps someone else will take up the mantle but who knows!
Hopefully we will see you and your life on Allorca in some posts! Appreciate the work and organization that you’ve done for this and many other things here on hive over the years man! I still have some alpha cards from you giving away alpha Splinterlands packs for stuff years ago. Good memories!

Wow. Wasn't expecting that but not surprised. I've been meaning to check your account and see if I missed any blog posts but seems like I didn't.
I have many happy memories of the engagement league and remember fondly the battles for the top. Sadly many of those people I battled with are no longer around. But then neither am I really.
