I haven't attracted people to comment on my post, yet, but I can try with other's posts... appreciation, kind and honest words, that's all we need to engage, right?

It takes time. A lot of it actually, but eventually, your posts will develop more traffic. I found that it was those "lower" than me that I helped, were the ones to visit my posts, and you do plenty of that, so be patient, keep doing what you're doing, and it will all happen sooner or later. You are doing a great job at engaging, just like wolfhart says too!
