Thanks @bashadow. Good to see you in the winners too.
I found the same with the dust level cut off. At one point in the week I had to up my vote to more than 305 in order to get above the threshold. I suppose it's related to how much Voting Power we have left too.
Thank goodness for steemworld where I can easily check what my VP is. I'd be lost without it. And busy, org where I can see the exact value of my vote.
I couldn't agree more. If only all the irritations of Steemit could be dealt with so well! π@dustsweeper is a steemit god send
Have a great week!
You should also be able to see the exact value you of your vote by sliding the 100% button on Steemworld :)
Thank you so much @abh2345. This is priceless!!!
I didn't think of that. Now I won't have to keep switching to busy.org to work out my vote value.
That's going to save a load of time. Hoorah! π (emoji for fireworks goes here) π
I absolutely LOVE steemworld @gillianpearce!!! And there continue to be awesome additions to it like "mentions", "upcoming author AND curation rewards". When you go to open it, you'll see a "newsletter" highlighted and that is @steemchiller, the "creator" of it updating us on all the latest awesomeness haha. Seriously, if you don't use it, you must check it out; it is one of the things I have open all of the time. It has a couple of places that utilize the slider so you can see the percentage you are voting with. @davemccoy says the slider in the "Tools" section is more accurate fyi. I could go on and on about it. Can you tell I enjoy it? :)
Yep. I agree @lynncoyle1. I always have it open on my desktop so I can keep an eye on my voting power levels. But I'd missed the fact that I could also check my current vote value there with the slider, until Asher pointed that out.
I was going into busy to do a check there which was a bit of a time waster.
I don't very often read the newsletter as I don't have enough time or, more accurately, it's not something I make a priority. π
I'll try and make more effort to read it then @lynncoyle1. I should look at the functions the other tool I use has and she is steemworld has that too, if it does, I'd only need to have one tool open.
However, I find learning this stuff takes time and it's often easier just to do what you've always done. π
heh, no problem! π π π
(a bit over-rated this firework emoji!)
Yes thank you!! I spend a lot of time there and never noticed that would slide. Silly me just kept watching to hit 100% Best tip I have got all week. TY
Yep it is, I try to keep an eye on it in steemworld and try not to drop too much into the 80% Vote power range, because then it starts to really affect the vote value for me. Having the tools really help, I love both steemworld and dustsweeper, it is why I profiled them for all my IFC friends in the last round.
What is IFC @bashadow?
IFC stands for Information Finding Championship. @IFC was a game concept that @apolymask came up with late last year, and implemented toward the end of January. It has been a long running contest, with a very varied set of rounds. We had 40 rounds, and are now getting ready for the Final 16 rounds. The various contest pretty much ran a wide gambit of topics, and the players were all free to chose how best to meet the topic., anything from meme's to music, to shilling for steem, and lots of fun in between ones.
IFC Song, he did, and it came out fantastic. So the IFC is basically a group of steemians having a lot of fun. You should stop by and look at a few of the post when you get time. The memes and the word games were a lot of fun.If you like grateful dead music, one of the rounds, Round 22, was music, I did some lyrics and a little jingle for the bonus. Well I think I won that round, but more important I am now a steemit lyricist, I asked @edprivat in one of his contest post, if he could make my lyrics into a song for us. The
One last plug for my IFC Song.
I think I remember seeing that in the early days @bashadow.
It sounds like you're all having a lot of fun. How many people how you had enter?
About 30 players, and almost 150 discord room members, fans and marketplace users.
Sounds like quite an undertaking @bashadow. Hope it continues to go well! π
And congratulations on getting into League 1 by the way. I'm totally clueless on that one! π
