WHY DO WE CELEBRATE THE FATHER'S DAY?
In most Latin American countries, as in the United States and Canada, Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in June.
Father's Day is a day not only to honor our father But to all men who act as a father figure.
Celebrate the stepfathers, the uncles, the grandparents, and in general the father figure, since all are creditors to be celebrated on Father's Day, this day became another happy occasion to bring the family together eat. The father represents the necessary equilibrium to educate the children as they grow and develop within a stable and loving home so that in the future they will become complete and happy men and women. Play a fundamental role within the family group, especially in the raising of children where the father serves as protector and guide while the mother as shelter and tenderness.
With the passing of the years, the tradition of giving presents to the parents was created. This caused the day to be commercialized and the big department stores to promote Father's Day to sell their products. This is how those first purely family and intimate celebrations have been transformed, then, over the years in a celebration that mix the sentimental with the commercial. Father's Day thus becomes an export product that has transcended the borders of the United States.
Father's day is not only to give something, go eat or celebrate
Father's day is for all children to have the opportunity to thank God and life for their father. Therefore, on this day the most important thing is not to give a present but to thank them for all they strive, sacrifice and do each day for the welfare of their children, it is a great opportunity to make them feel all the love they deserve.
