Friendship is a relationship of affection and trust that is established between people who are not family. Let's reflect a little on those 2 words. Affection is about the inclination towards someone or something, especially love. I am a very affectionate woman, I love hugs and kisses. Obviously that is not won by anyone and neither does anyone accept it, but that's just how I am =). The best cure for a rage, sadness or disappointment is a hug and a kiss. Not just anyone, but that person who knows you and holds your anger , with which in confidence you are able to mourn and dance freely. Affection is evolving, in some people it has limits and in others it does not, but the important thing is to know that the affection we receive must be valued as we hope that the affection we give will not be despised.
On the other hand, there is trust. Trust is the firm hope that a person has in which something happens or in which another person acts as she wishes. We all know that trust is not shared or given so easily to anyone. It is built and maintained. However, we must take a step in faith to trust someone, to tell a secret, ask for a favor or make commitments; That's when we test the level of confidence we can have in others. In the same way we must remember that it is the same process of the other people towards us. That is, they also expect us to respect their secrets and to fulfill our promises and that is how they manage to trust us.
My friends are my treasures. They are trunks of different sizes, materials and colors, but all have diamonds and beautiful jewels. From all I learn and from all I have been able to obtain invaluable gold coins, and just like a pirate I intend to take care of them and protect them from anyone who tries to question their value, and no matter how far they are, I will not allow them to forget how invaluable they are for me.
I thank God for the people he has placed on my path, those whom I can truly call my friends and I hope to celebrate their friendship more than just one day a year, but every day!
