How good it is to do social work in my large community where I live, where my family and a wide variety of friends live.
Where day after day, my neighbors and family do not enjoy a good and beautiful sunrise, like the old days, where you could get up from your bed, make your personal oxeo and go to your kitchen directly to prepare a good cup of hot coffee, and then go to the window of your house and see that beautiful sun go out.
In these times as many of you must already have understood, that our president is useless in our country, then we ourselves have to go out to collect and clean our community, but we have to do it with our own hands, (since we do not have the government oxeo trucks, which should help all communities to keep everything clean.)
A photograph with my big helmet, to start working.
How do I do this social work in my community?
Well to begin with I am a young man of 19 years of age, where I was seeing and thinking that my community was no longer the same as before, where the axeo trucks arrived every week to pick up and clean up all the garbage in the community. But my community has already reached an extreme where so much garbage, mosquitoes and many varieties of diseases, which contaminate the environment and the inhabitants of the community, where I could see that children of small ages were already being affected by the diseases of environmental pollution and garbage.
This is a photograph of me and my team supporting me.
When I was 19 years old, I was a person who saw that everything was going badly every day, where if the government didn't help us, I had to motivate myself to do it.
And this social work begins like this:
One day I woke up thinking that my neighbors would support me and we could do a good job as a team, without seeking any minimal help from the government.
I was looking for all my friends and neighbors in the community to convene a general meeting, where I was able to meet in general with many people and I had to explain to them about my great idea of social work in the community, where many of the people rejected the proposal, because I was just a young man of 19 years of age, and just as many of the people supported me, to get us going to do a good job that is very important and necessary for our community.
Pictures of the people who supported me in the community.
Already with a very positive mind I could start with the beginning of the social work, with the people who supported me, start looking for materials that we could use to start disappearing and clean the garbage, to remove the main pollution that was growing in the community.
I believe you have touched on what "community" should be. It is great that as a community you are depending on each other. Without cleaning up the community it is too easy for disease to begin to spread. Plus things are rough enough, but having to see garbage all the time would not be good for your mental health.
Keep up this great work. Leadership can come from any age.
