Hello to the entire steemit community, happy and grateful to God for allowing me to know and belong to this great community of steemit that will allow me to share experiences and learn from all those who comprise it. My name is Yohana Rodríguez, I am Venezuelan, I am 33 years old and I am the mother of a beautiful girl of 5 years who is the one who drives me to continue in the struggle to survive one of the most cruel and deadly diseases that unfortunately exist in the world and that many of us have to face with courage FAITH and a lot of hope: cancer.
Before my diagnosis.
I want to share with you a little about the history of my life; I was born in a humble family in which we are four brothers, I the second and the only female, my father who suffers from deafness for more than 15 years and for that reason uses hearing aids, has always been the breadwinner, She is 64 years old and she is still working hard. Since we were born he dedicated himself to give us quality of life, a decent education, food and clothing until each of us became independent, two of my brothers had to leave the country because of the situation that is no secret to anyone; my mother a great woman who has remained married to him for 34 years in housewife and his partner in good times and bad, our support at all times.
I studied at the university "UNELLEZ" and obtained the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration, there I met the man who would be the love of my life and father of my only daughter, today my faithful companion, unconditional in moments of solitude, sadness and anguish.
I worked for almost 8 years in a financial institution absorbed by the government, Banco Bicentenario, I held the position of service executive, I really liked my job, I could find a solution to the clients' problems, at the end of the working day I felt very nice words of thanks from so many people who motivated to continue the next day with the days of helping more people. Despite feeling good in my job one day I received a proposal from a compadre for the management of their small business and then accept giving up the bank, in the end it was not what I expected and I also resigned: "You should not make hasty decisions " I received the support of my daughter's father, I worked with him for some months selling motorcycle parts for the company he works for. One day I went to the medical consultation with my gynecologist for control that any woman should do, it did not go well, there in my right breast was a formation of a small ball that was not normal, I was referred to the chemist, I traveled to Barquisimeto in search of other medical diagnoses, the days passed and when the results of the studies made there coincided with those of my gynecologist: "triple negative invasive duet carcinoma", in a review I made over the internet I understood that it was something negative in my life and with poor prognosis, but I decided not to give prominence or cavity in any aspect of my life to that disease, I am currently receiving chemotherapy to be able to perform an operation and I am aware that it is not an easy situation what awaits me, but it does not matter , I want to LIVE, at least another few years to see my daughter grow, although my body is tired, dejected and mutilated my soul will remain intact , I do not know what will happen at the end, but while that happens and I can overcome this sad illness I am determined to live one day at a time and enjoy it to the fullest with the people I love and who loves me, I do not deny that there are strong days, difficult sometimes I feel sad but then I think I'm not alone in this fight and that there are also many children with cancer who show us their courage and fight every day to win are an example for anyone and I know that one day not very far We are going to win this war on cancer and we will never go through this again in the name of God.
Currently without hair but with a big smile and eager to emerge triumphant in the name of God and be the example and motivation for many people who go through the same situation and prove that we can beat cancer.
