It's a psychological thriller with political themes

The film begins with Chris Washington, a photographer who has a normal relationship with his girlfriend Rose, who is going through one of the most uncomfortable moments in the relationship: knowing his parents, Chris feels a bit uncomfortable because he does not know how they are. going to His parents react since he is of African-American descent and the bride and parents are of Caucasian European ancestry.

The Tórtolos arrive at the house of their parents, in a place not specified by the bride, they arrive at the house of their parents, what Chris receives with the surprise that the parents are super accommodating, they even tell him that they are Obama, liberals, lovers of cultural diversity.

With the time of the stay he realizes that at home they have two African-American employees with a remarkably strange behavior, their way of speaking, their gestures make our protagonist raise suspicions that something strange is happening.

His suspicion increases even more because he realizes that the mother-in-law tries to hypnotize him according to quitting, but the next scene in which the neighbors arrive (especially Euro-Americans, Caucasians) begins to make exaggerated compliments to Chris, they begin to hypnotize him. Ask uncomfortable questions, it's when Chris has come to the conclusion that he has to leave immediately.

When the pack is aware of the origin of one of the employees and that community kidnaps people (preferably colored), auction and make a type of brain transplant, placing the brain of another person, the two servants of the house that have the brain of your grandparents! who can not get out of there, also realizes that his girlfriend was also part of that macabre plan they had.

Chris's friend who was in the city managed to rescue him from that nightmare.

** OPINION **
When I saw the movie trailer, I found it very interesting because it takes the racial theme that is still happening in the United States, which is not very common in suspense films. The truth is that Daniel Kaluuya's performance was very good! I felt empathy for him in the moments of tension when he realized that what happened in that city was not normal, and this film breaks a bit with the scheme that the protagonist (either male or female) has astuteness and knows how to act in times of crisis and not like normal movies that die of fear breaking their legs and crawling on the floor that gives the antagonist ease to fulfill their misdeeds and fortunately is saved on the line.

2017 between so many remakes, spin-off, sequels, prequels, schools, superhero movies (although they do not bother me), etc. It is a very good original movie, very nice, you will not lose the money you invest or the GB downloads but I do not see it as well as it is the movie of the year, in my opinion, this Dunkirk, but what if I am sure is that the actor I stand out enough and deserves that Oscar Pinche.
