GALALA
I'm sure a couple of us have seen daddy showkey's videos where he was doing this move. This move requires a lot of flexibility and they still do it on the streets of Lagos.
SUO
This came right after the reign of galala in Nigeria, popularized by Marvellous Benjy (remember him?), he even made sure to mention the fact that suo came to boot out galala from the music scene in his song...
ALANTA
Artquake really rocked our radio stations with this jam that year! I still dance like this at parties.
ETIGHI
Etighi is a traditional dance that originated from the Calabar people, I'm sure a lot people do not know this. However, Iyanya was the one that popularized the dance with the song, Kukere.
YAHOOZE
Mr Olu! Maintain Realoded... The song, the dance... That year, it spread like wildfire
MAKOSSA
This one was brought to us by Awilo Logomba. Remember how people used to clap their hand and wine their waists that year? A very good way to burn calories...
SKELEWU
Davido came with this... Put one hand on your back, raise the other hand like you are pushing a car and then wine your waist, finish, you're dancing skelewu.
SHOKI
Lil Kesh delivered this hot hot to Nigerians... The dance and the song took over the Nigerian music industry for quite a while.
SHAKU SHAKU
From Legbegbe to oshozondi to issa banger to issa goal to shepeteri this dance is a mad one... The songs that are popularizing this dance can legit make you temporarily lose home training in public, we all know.
You covered them well enough...lol
