A lot of great points here, but I am not so sure it's as black and white as "you are or you are not." I think you've laid out a lot of great questions to consider as someone aspiring to be an entrepreneur, but I don't think it is innate.

I agree with you. It is not innate! It is, in my opinion, a skill set that one can develop. Some people, however, are lured into entrepreneurship because of all the success stories out there (which are not always true/transparent) and just dive into it with no preparation.

I had two objectives with this post:

1. State that you can be something other than an entrepreneur and still be innovative;
2. Shed some light on the preparation work required if you do decide to become one.
