haha mining for coins, yeah not nearly as profitable as crypto mining but got me to work at least. I remember one time while handing the cashier 21 pennies to put in my tank they fell pitty for me and told me to put in another $2 on them. granted this is back when that may have gotten you a gallon and a half or so but still a low moment.
I'm far from rich, but I'm comfortable these days, if I crack a tooth or need a new car battery I can buy it without worrying which is a huge peace of mind. Had a funny thing happen to me the other weekend. I forgot my wallet at my office over a long 3 day weekend and we had a snowstorm so didn't wanna drive all the way there to get it. One night I needed to run to the gas station so took a handful of quarters and change out of me and my gf's change jar and it really took me back to the day where I had to do that on a regular basis.
