After watching the movie, I knew that I wanted to write about the opening monologue. There is nothing better in this world then money. Money literally makes the world go round. One of my least favorite sayings of all time is money doesn’t buy happiness, because let's be real it does. It always has and always will. Money buys the cars you want. The food you love. It buys whatever you feel like you need to be happy or whatever actually makes you happy. I feel if you want to be an entrepreneur you have to love money, or like he said in the movie other people’s money. If you run your own business, you will have to know what is going on with the money you make or spend. You run it and even if you have someone to oversee it for you, you still need to know what is going on. You can’t spend money if you have none or are making not enough. To get your business running you need money and some type of loans to get the business running. Money is involved in everything, and you need to know your best about it. A lot of the movie also talks about stocks. Depending on the path you take for your company you need to learn a lot about this too. The stock market is a wild and dangerous place. I got into stocks my junior year of high school. I didn’t know much, but I did my research to figure out as much as I could. Well, little did I know a couple months later we would have a pandemic that would absolutely destroy my stocks. I stopped investing instead of putting more in, which has caused me to not be able to come back from what happened when it crashed. I lost so much and am still hoping I can fix it to make it go back up. I had about $700 worth of money invested into the market and right now I am sitting at about $200. Like I said it is a wild and dangerous place to be. You need to know as much as you can about it if that’s what you want for your company. Still, you could be very prepared and the unexpected could happen. You just have to find a way to get back on track. That leads me to my next point, fighting for your company. I touched on this in the last one too. You have to have fight in you if you want to succeed. You are going to have to deal with so much adversity and setbacks. You need to be prepared for any adversity you can think of, because they will defiantly come. My biggest adversity’s always come when things are going well or great in my life. It is so funny to me that, that is when it always happens. It has gotten to the point now where every time I am happy, or things are going well I wait for the bad things to happen. I am not saying that you have to always expect the worse, but if you do when it happens you will be more prepared. My friends always get mad at me, because I always expect the worse and they tell me not to do that, but the second I get happy it never fails. Back to my main point though you need to be prepared. Being able to handle adversity is one of the strongest traits anyone can have. Some of my personal experiences would have to be in football. I came off the best season ever and the next year I was down the roster and had to fight my way back up to the top. Now don’t get me wrong it will not be easy, and you can never actually fully be prepared for it. Just knowing it can and probably will happen will be a great thing to do for yourself and your company. The last 2 movies have kind of touched on the same things. The first one was more of one person and she started to male her business and this one was about a guy who already had a business. They both share the same main focus in my opinion and that is just fighting. My favorite quote is, “ A moment of pain is worth a lifetime of glory.” I heard that quote for the first time in 6th or 7th grade and I still live by it. It was in a movie called unbroken and in the movie there is a scene were he has to hold a log over his head and of he drops it they are going to kill him. As he is about to drop it he actually lifts it above his head showing everyone he won’t give up. That scene to this day still stays with me. I always think about it when I go through hard times. I mean come on I am failing a test or just wake up sad one day and I am going to let that ruin my day. This guy had been eating rations of food for weeks months even years. In his moment of adversity he gave it his all and won. If he can do it, so can I. You need to have this mindset in entrepreneurship, because people have all gone through it. Every business started from nothing and had to become something, so why not yours. Just be prepared for anything and everything that comes your way. Also always remember people have gone through the same thing you have and probably even worse, so you can do it too. Also remember only 3 things in life show you love without complaint. They are dogs, donuts and money. Money is the best, because it doesn't make you fat or poop on your floor. Lastly only one thing is better then money and it is other people's money.
