At the Senior Center in my very rural community we have one good solution.
Once every year in mid April the county provides large roll-off dumpsters. Since our area includes parts of 2 counties, this year 2 came from one county and 4 from the other. Staffed by volunteers, one using his backhoe front bucket, we filled them all in 5 days. All the recyclable metal and reusable items set aside, and processed accordingly.
Anyone else see solutions for your neighborhoods?
Jeeez, now I wish you had posted this last week. Another coulda, woulda, shoulda moment in my minds-eye, posting pics for awareness and proof-of-work/solutions :D
