Earth is where we live. Well, at least until Elon Musk builds an economical and efficient way for us to get to another planet. So, we better take care of it!

The Environment is the most important resource for life. We get water, power and Oxygen from the Environment. It helps to clear pollution and is a large habitat for animals. Earth is getting polluted by poisonous gases and fumes made by cars and factories. A clean environment is essential for healthy living. Air pollution can cause respiratory diseases and cancer, among other problems and diseases. Water pollution can lead to typhoid, diarrheal diseases, and other water-related diseases. Therefore we should keep our environment clean and protected.
Suppose an environment consisted of a farm and a city.
Suppose the farm had a big field that grew plants and a cattle ranch on a quarry where plants from the fertile field were fed to the cattle.
Suppose the city was all streets and avenues ,industries, offices, and homes, made of rock from the quarry. The people had minerals and metals crushed from ore of the quarry. They ate beef and vegetables grown on the farm.They made modern electrical goods that ran on electricity.
The people needed to generate electricity. They discovered they could make solar panels from the fertile dirt of the farm field.
Half the field was stripped to bedrock and the city had power. But they did not have enough to eat. First the cows died and then the farmers who guarded the field were killed by hungry crowds.
Soon most died before plants could be grown by a cycle that was hard to relearn. People had eaten each other too and many fought to the death to end such a thing.
Many, many years passed until things were as they had started.
The new cows were more brown.
The solar panels still worked, and they were laid on altars and marvled.
Protecting the environment is what old religious farmer-cannibals teach us.
