Great post !!
I see 3 things that clash.
(1) Mans influence on the planet over the last 200 yrs or so in terms of industrial and luxury.
(2) The solar max and min that happens every 11 yrs that changes our climate over that time from hot to cold.
(3) Mans unwillingness to give up the wealth and luxuries and instead trying to control that which he can't vs working with the planet of which he is just a guest.
Politician: We need to get to that climate change conference so we can raise some money to protect the planet. Get the private 747 ready and we will get there asap. You know the one that will spew more toxins into the atmosphere that 100 cars in a yr ya that one....
