Thanks for following me! Yeah this problem has always bothered me. I believe blockchain can solve some of the bad aspects of it! I'll explain my viewpoint in the next post.

A big cause of all of this overconsumption is that manufacturing is subsidized by governments, externalities are socialized, and we run our economy based on consumption (even on credit) rather than on capital accumulation and investment (with the remainder used for consumption). Overconsumption is in a way just a symptom of the centralized banking growth at all costs objective.
not only the banks, everyone wants more and to have what others do so.. everyone plays themselves into oblivion.
